Fall registration for our popular Learn to Skate programs, CanSkate and CanSkateTots, is now available on-line. These programs are a great opportunity for young children and youth to learn the fundamental skills of skating. To register, please click on the following link: https://arcticedge.uplifterinc.com/.
CanSkate classes are 45 minutes long and ideal for skaters ages 5 to 12 years old. Skaters who are 4 years old and have skated before are also welcome to join the CanSkate program. Skaters can register for 1, 2 or 3 classes per week. For optimal progress, 2 classes per week is recommended. The classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15-7:00pm and Saturdays from 10:45-11:30am.
CanSkate Tots classes are 30 minutes long and are designed for skaters who are 5 years old or younger and have not previously skated. The classes are offered on Wednesdays from 3:15-3:45pm and Saturdays from 10:00-10:30am
All classes are held at the Canada Games Centre.
Program and sessions are subject to a minimum number of registrants. Arctic Edge Skating Club reserves the right to change programming if there is insufficient enrollment.

SKATE CANADA FEE: All skaters must be registered with Skate Canada and pay an annual membership fee. This fee covers a full year of skating from September 2023 – August 2024. The Skate Canada and administration fee of $59 is non-refundable and is added to the session fees in the registration system.
DEADLINE TO REGISTER: September 15, 2023 Please register on or before the deadline. Registration spaces are offered on a first come first serve basis. If registration is full, please add your name to the waitlist. We may be able to increase capacity and offer a space to your skater after registration closes or after the program commences. If you require assistance, email the club (arcticedgesc@gmail.com) and the administrator will assist you with your registration.
