ARCTIC EDGE SKATING CLUB – ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – Wednesday June 15, 2022.

Members will be adopting new Constitution and Bylaws at the Annual General Meeting

The draft resolution reads:
BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT Arctic Edge Skating Club adopt the new Constitution and Bylaws dated June 15, 2022 so as to conform with the new Societies Act, SY 2022, c. 5.

SUMMER SCHOOL and CAMP

Arctic Edge Skating Club is offering seven weeks of ice from July 18, 2022 September 1, 2022 for Rising Star/Junior, Intermediate and Senior level skaters.  The program fee is offered by the week and covers the cost of ice, off-ice training and group lessons. The off-ice program will be outdoors unless it is raining.  If it is raining, the off-ice sessions will move to an indoor space at the Canada Games Centre. Skaters will need running shoes and clothes appropriate for outdoor training.  For summer school, the skater groupings are the same as last season and you should register your child based on the group they were in last season.  Please email arcticedesc@gmail.com if you have questions regarding registration or would like to discuss your skaters level for registration.

RISING STAR/JUNIOR

Ice sessions: Tuesday/Thursday from 4:45 to 5:30 pm.

INTERMEDIATE AND SENIOR

Ice sessions:  Monday to Thursday

Off-ice sessions: Two times per week.

SUMMER CAMP: August 16 to 19 for Junior/Intermediate Skaters

We also have a new summer camp program from August 16 to 19th for Junior and Intermediate skaters who are 12 years old or younger.  Drop off will be at Mt. McIntyre Recreation Ski Base centre between 8 and 8:30 am and pick up at the Canada Games Centre at 5 pm.  The camp will include:

  • Two on-ice sessions
  • Off-ice sessions specific to figure skating
  • Outdoor activities
  • Crafts
